Video: Cramer Says Stewart Had No Point & a Naïve Attack
Jim Cramer was back on The Today Show for the first time since last week's extended interview on The Daily Show—where, by most accounts, he served as doormat for Jon Stewart's extended chastising of his and the rest of CNBC's behavior throughout the economic meltdown. And like a kid who sticks his tongue out once his parents have left the room following a spanking, Cramer took the opportunity this morning to finally stand up against Stewart's attacks. Following the segment's financial talk, The Daily Show discussion begins at around 3:08 below.
We love the conclusion where Meredith asks Cramer what he meant by telling Stewart that he would "try harder" and he responds by saying, "That was an attempt, as it was throughout the interview, to take a high road." If Cramer's words had any credibility left after The Daily Show force-fed them back to him throughout the days leading up to his interview, his posthumous attempt to take a swing at the show a week later might have bankrupted any value they had remaining even further.

NBC tries to sell CNBC as a financial news organization when, in fact, it is a network of stock touts. CNBC is one big infomercial for snake oil.

Cramer didn't have the cajones to take on Stewart on the show but now goes around talking shit . Cramer has no morals and he is really a clown with his roll up sleeves.

Cramer's a coward. I don't care who's right or who's wrong, but when you're confronted face to face and you pussy out, then go talking shit all day behind said person's back... that, is a serious beta dog personality flaw.

Seriously. Jim Cramer rolled over at The Daily Show. I'm surprised it took him this long to lash out. He was made to look the groveling fool. He would've done us all a favor if he had stood up for himself on the show, rather than turtling like Chris Neil fighting Colton Orr.

Cramer is positioned by his network as an investment authority.
He claims that he is trying to make finance and investment understandable to the everyday person.
He makes proclamations on the health of the economy and corporations and is not above creating buzz or false PR to influence investing.
Jim Cramer also calls himself a journalist in the above clip, if he is one he needs to re-evaluate what he really does.
That is waaaay different than what John Stewart does. John Stewart only hopes you will laugh at his wise ass remarks on daily news issues and has never ever produced "I am a journalist I have ethics I am bound to" card.
Here is the obvious clue, he works for COMEDY CENTRAL.
Jim Cramer works for the "Consumer News and Business Channel"
Don't you see a difference in the vast difference in their impact?
Your comment is just glib, man...just glib.

Jon Stewarts next targets:
Ralph Lauren- "How can you design clothes when people are dying?"
Frank Perdue - "How can you kill chickens, when chickens are dying?"
Obama - "How can you fill out a bracket, when the economy is dying?"
I just don't get it. He was after Cramer for reporting about financial stuff, but being entertaining at the same time. Why is that bad? Stewart tries to be serious and funny at the same time. Why does Cramer need to have a moral responsibility to everyone. Let him go on about his bad stock picks...WTF?
