Pentatuches? That would be five each, times eight that would mean forty all together. Are Pentatuches kind of like potato blintzes or more like perogies?

This dude stole "eight scrolls of Hebrew Scripture" or he stole eight Torahs? Because I've been going to shul my whole life and I have no idea what "eight scrolls of Hebrew Scripture" means. Why not make things even less obvious and say he stole eight Pentatuches?

Almost. I had several weekends carrying bases, balls and bats and we never charged anyone over $75 to watch our games.

Throwing 40 pitches is a warmup. The Mets are destined to be what they are. A single A team trying to make it to the pros.

"Johan Santana said he felt good after throwing 40 pitches..." WOW! JUST AMAZING! When I was doing little league I had one of my pitchers throw 145 pitches in the cold early days of the season in a misty rain. I kept asking him how he felt and he said, "he felt good after throwing 145 pitches." I didn't believe him so I took him out of the game and made him catch instead. He never had an arm problem the whole season after that.
