  • The Daily News says that former VP Dick Cheney tried, in the waning days of the Bush Administration, to convince Dubya to pardon Scooter Libby. And Cheney was "outraged" that he didn't.
  • A hot dog vendor is throwing in the mustard after 41 years on the job. A relative will take over his stand which is in prime Times Square territory.
  • Trump Resorts, which has Atlantic City casinos, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
  • Brooklyn's Daptone Records was robbed. Many pieces of equipment and computers were stolen, but apparently "burglars did drop a few items" in order to steal an old safe, which happened to be empty.
  • An apparently suicidal man surrendered after a three-hour standoff on I-84 in Connecticut.
  • Former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani is endorsing Chris Christie for NJ Governor.
  • If Mandy Moore is pitching laundry detergent, does that means fiance Ryan Adams will have cleaner clothes?
  • And Bristol Palin, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's daughter, told Fox News that abstinence before marriage isn't realistic. She, of course, blessed her parents with their first grandchild last year.
