Another Small Earthquake in NJ

2009_02_njearth.jpg At 5:22 p.m. yesterday afternoon, a 2.4 magnitude earthquake slightly shook a few towns in Morris County. Montville Township emergency management coordinator Rudy Appelmann told the Star-Ledger, "It was kind of a rolling rumble, like a long, extended thunder. Basically a lot of things shook, and a lot of phones rang." More calls were from residents who thought there was an explosion. Twelve days ago, there was a 3.0 magnitude earthquake in Morristown, NJ. More details about yesterday's earthquake at the U.S. Geological Survey.

My friend in LA laughs at this, but I pointed out NJ homes aren't built to withstand even tiny earthquakes.

It's just God's way of saying Jersey sucks.

And an excessive infestation of bedbugs in NYC is God's way of saying you are filthy.

Openheads. Maybe I should crack your head open and see what a dumbass you really are. Do you have a preference, Louisville or an Easton bat? Metal or wood?

Wow! You're an internet tough guy as well as a provincial douche. Noice!

Montville is right next to me I felt nothig lol.

@Snoopy
I hope your town has an earthquake and you eat some suckage.

Unfortunately my town suffers a fate worse than that every weekend, it's called the bridge and tunnel crowd.

The "b&t" crowd keeps restaurants and clubs doing well, idiot. NYC wouldn't be anything if it weren't for outside people coming in that don't live directly in the city.

This earthquake was nothing compared to that other one five or six years ago...everything in my house shook.

Since I don't work in a restaurant or a bar or a nightclub or a bottle joint that cater to that crowd, I really can't give a shit if the scum balls coming through the bridges and tunnels are served. In fact if those establishments went out of business tomorrow, I would applaud the occasion. I live below 23rd street and the owners of those shit holes bring nothing to the table for the community.

I don't see a lot of New Yorkers flocking to NJ to get their kicks. WHY? Because Jersey and its occupants are a bunch of morons.

I've noticed that it's always the most bland, devoid of personality & vanilla types who are the most "militant" NY'ers.
It's not NJ's fault you suck & must rely on your zip code as a personality crutch.
But hey, it seems that you really need a false sense of superiority to get you through your days. Who am I to deny you that?

openhead, could you just peak your head out of the Holland Tunnel so I can smack it down?

"devoid of personality & vanilla types" I guess you nailed that on the head. Ask all my good buddies here, BabyHitler, Spiritof86, even NannyState how devoid I am of personality & being a vanilla type.

But then again if the Port Authority charged double per person for entering the city, if you are under the age of 30 between the hours of 10 PM Fridays till 8 AM Sundays perhaps they can build the World Trade Center on time.

I rest my case............
You should really reread your own posts my friend. Typing tough, asking internet buddies to vouch for your "spectacular personality".
You're a lame. Personal insecurity transferred is the sign of a weak constitution.
The more you type, the worse you look. So keep those witty replies coming.

So typically Jerseyite.

You rest your case every week when you drive back to Jersey because you can't even afford to live in Bushwick. Does your mother make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for you so you don't have to buy lunch at McDonalds?

"So typically Jerseyite."

In what way?
That was a very weak segue.

Why don't these tremblors ever stike Cheesequake NJ?
