Car, Fleeing Cops, Hits Three Pedestrians in the Bronx

2009_02_bxhr.jpg Three teenagers were struck by a speeding car in the Van Nest section of the Bronx. The teens, ages 15, 16, and 17, are hospitalized and police are searching for the car's occupants, who fled on foot.

According to the NY Times, "Officers in an unmarked police car pulled over a red Honda about 3 p.m. near East Tremont Avenue, suspecting that the people inside were armed with illegal weapons," but the car drove off once the officers started to approach. The officers followed but were told to stop the pursuit when they lost track of it. The Daily News reports, "Zigzagging through traffic, [the Honda's driver] lost control at Adams St. and Van Nest Ave. and jumped the curb, hitting the victims and then the storefront church" at Van Nest Avenue and East 180th Street.

Witnesses told the News that the driver "stripped off a red Cardinals baseball cap and matching sweat shirt as he ran from the scene." The three victims are in stable conditions, with two of the teens in "more serious" condition.

YO THE CAR WAS UNMARKED. IF A CIVILIAN CAR CHASED THEN THESE GUYS CRASHED, IT WOULD BE THE CAR DOING THE CHASING THAT GETS CHARGED!

FUCK THE POLICE!

In some circles this is called eponysterical.

Neighbors report them as 'good, quiet boys'

I would get rid of a Cardinals cap too. They suck

Cardinal cap + matching shirt = blood member.
