Bromantic Triangle: Don Draper, Kenneth Parcell and Sully?

2009_02_FeyHamm.jpg Local TV nerds likely have their TiVos set to record NBC at 9:30 tonight on both tuners to make sure they don't miss the debut of Man Men's Jon Hamm in his guest role as Liz Lemon's new love interest on 30 Rock. Last night Hamm was promoting his gig on Conan and revealed that he and Tina Fey were shooting one of their scenes when she spotted Flight 1549 flying low on its descent towards the Hudson two weeks ago. Conan wondered if Hamm's good looks could have been the culprit! Captain Sully and Don Draper? Hubba hubba.

Hamm also revealed that his guest stint on 30 Rock has led to a new friendship with Jack McBrayer (aka intern Kenneth Parcell) and that the two recently attended a Knicks game together. (Couldn't the MSG cameramen have panned away from Spike Lee for a second and caught that celebrity sighting?) Hamm told Conan that Knicks fans only recognized one of the two small screen stars. No spoilers here—the video below reveals which.

Hamm recently shared that he had submitted an audition for the role of 30 Rock's Jack Donaghy, a revelation even to Tina Fey. And if comedy nerds really wanna get pumped up for Hamm's comedic star turn tonight, check out clips of his impressive hosting job of SNL this past fall where he put his ad man skills to the test in being able to sell the product (and the sketch) titled "Jon Hamm's John Ham."

Draper is so much cooler as Draper. His agent should tell him to stop doing interviews.

Kenneth is a NBC Page, not an intern.
