Staten Island resident Ralph Nicoletti pleaded guilty to beating a black teen with a metal pipe on Election Night. Nicoletti, 18, who attacked Ali Kamara as well as others in the November 4th rampage, admitted, "I was angry. I was drunk. After Obama was elected, we decided to go after black people." The group also attacked a white man who they thought was black (because he was wearing his hooded sweatshirt up), striking him with a car; Nicoletti said, "It wasn't my intent to kill him; it was my intent to injure him." Nicoletti was considered the ringleader; his three associates also pleaded guilty to the federal hate crime charges.
