Super Bowl XLIII: Steelers Vs. Cardinals

It's the biggest sporting event of the year, with the bruising Pittsburgh Steelers facing off against the underdog Arizona Cardinals in the Super Bowl. New Yorkers may remember when Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner was the pre-Eli Manning quarterback for the Giants. And New Jerseyites have their moment in the sun at half time with this year's musical performance coming from the Garden State via The Boss.

You will see Giants' defensive lineman Justin Tuck during the game—just not on field. He's appearing in a SoBe Water ad, along with the Patriots' Matt Light and the Ravens' Ray Lewis, which will be one of the many commercials that are airing in $3 million, 30-second spots during the game. On that note, can you believe it's been 25 years since Apple's 1984 ad?

But for many New Yorkers, they may be wistful for last year's game, where the Giants played an exhilirating game against the Patriots. Heck, even President Barack Obama told Matt Lauer during an interview that David Tyree's Super Bowl XLII catch was one of the most incredible plays in football! See the Commander-in-Chief's interview below:

The game has started, the Cards won the coin toss and deferred their choice until the second half. Were the Cards overthinking it? Discuss!

This matchup is so incredible that I have gone through three Depends since one o'clock. How can the people from Pittsburgh deal with this?

If Pittsburgh wins, that means they won the XLIII Superbowl. Do you know how incredible that is? How many other teams have won that Superbowl? Think about it.

Most incredible touchdown in SB history?

drewo. Sorry but I stepped out of the room to get another cold Bud. Did I miss something that I could have passed on to my grandchildren?

New NFL rules suck. These penalties/fouls blow.

Excruciating. We should throw a flag on the whole shitty spectacle.

What time is the kickoff tomorrow night? Are the Brooklyn
Dodgers still in contention?

It was looking like a blow out and boring super bowl until the 4th quarter.

Poor Jessica Simpson. The President called you out on your weight issues!
