The skies have clouded up as a cold front approaches the region. The front extends out from a storm passing way to the north. The city is far enough away that there's only enough moisture to bring the clouds and a few off-and-on flurries this afternoon and evening. Look for a high in the mid 30s.
To stretch an analogy, this weekend will see the McDLT of high pressure systems: The hot side will stay hot while the cold side remains cold. Both days should be sunny but Saturday may not reach 30, and a breezy, wind chilly 30 at that. Sunday will be in the lower 40s, which isn't actually hot but you get the picture. Perfect for the Lunar New Year parade!
The warmth continues into Monday as clouds return. Rain may fall again as early as Monday night. While it is still early in the forecast cycle, there are signs that the city could get a soaking Monday night and Tuesday. No snow as the cold air won't get here until after the rain stops.

Really? That's all you got?
