The Henry family also still seems to firmly believe that the man behind the murders is Fredrick Goings, the ex-boyfriend whom Nova Henry had a restraining order against. The News says that Ava bears Goings's last name, despite the restraining order being taken out in 2006. Goings, a lawyer, apparently had helped Henry prepare paternity paperwork to serve to Curry. Curry and Henry's 3-year-old son Noah, found covered in blood after witnessing the murders, allegedly said, "Fred did it."
Curry had been paying $6,000/month in child support for Noah, and after he was apparently found to be Ava's father, that amount went up to $15,000/month. There is still no confirmation if Curry, who has now returned to Chicago, has been reunited with his son. A paternity lawyer involved with the case says that Curry is eventually expected to be given custody of Noah (he's currently in the care of his maternal grandmother). Since the murders, Curry has been unavailable for comment.

I know. I'm not going to try and speak out in anyone's defense, because I'm nobody, but Noah was with family, and I don't think it's beyond reason to imagine that Eddie needed some time to gather himself before heading out there. Besides, I've been on a plane for only a couple of hours at a time without anything on my mind, and all I'd do is go over things in my head endlessly. I'm not sure a small enclosed space like a plane cabin would be the best place for him to be at a time like that. I'm not speaking against anyone here, I'm just saying.
Not buying it. He could have gathered his thoughts on a plane while rushing to his one kid, who just witnessed his other kid getting murdered. Totally unacceptable.
There's yet more to this story. Curry might have been in a kind of "magical thinking" denial, or he could be more involved in this and in a bad way...
