27 Stolen Ten-Table Super Bowl Rings Found!

2009_01_10tab.jpg Three people were arrested after investigators found 27 of the Giants' Super Bowl (the "ten table" ones designed by Tiffany & Co.) in a Massachusetts safety deposit box rented by a 22-year-old woman. The rings were some of the jewelry taken in the robbery of a jewelry manufacturer last year. According to NBC New York, "police found one of the stolen Super Bowl rings in [Sean] Murphy's bedroom, jewelry in his car, and rare coins in a bank safe deposit box." The Giants received the rings last May for their Super Bowl XLII victory; the stolen rings were meant for the Giants' support staff.

Dumb. The chances of ever being able to fence something that unusual and hot are nearly nonexistent. I would have melted them down for the gold and sold the gems.

The poor Patriots couldn't win the Super Bowl...so a stupid ass Patriot's fan had to steal one...sad...just really sad.

So...who stole the Giants' 2008 Superbowl rings?

Any signs of Saddam's WMD's in those safety deposit boxes?

Because you American idiots ARE still looking for 'em right?
