Fancy that: After kicking open the doors to a third term bid, Mayor Bloomberg's approval rating has gone up to 69%, from 66% in November, according to a new Quinnipiac poll. Quinnipiac points out this "puts him back on a track of 69 percent or higher approval ratings in every other poll since he began his second term." Interestingly enough, respondents still approved of term limits 69-25% and disapproved of the City Council's decision to extend them 56-42% (they just seem like to Mayor Bloomberg?).
The poll also asked respondents about this fall's mayoral matchups. Right now, "Bloomberg tops New York City Comptroller William Thompson 50 - 34 %" and also "beats U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner 50 - 35 p%." In a Democratic primary, Weiner leads Thompson 30-23%, but there are still 47% undecided. Quinnipiac University Polling Institute's Maurice Carroll analyzed, "Mayor Mike is riding high as the election year starts. He's got the job. He's got the money. And he's got comfortable early leads over the two Brooklyn Democrats who want his job."
Caroll adds that voters don't know about Weiner or Thompson. And if anyone wonders about Bloomberg, Politicker NY's Azi Paybarah noticed a new Bloomberg Google ad: "It asks, 'Who is Mike Bloomberg?' and answers: 'Philanthropist. Businessman. Mayor of NYC. Leader on sustainability.'"

I mean, this is the mayor who went on for 3 days or so on Plaxico Burress? and, nothing bout homelessness, job losses, madoff fraud and more fraud.
and, burress only shot himself not defrauded 50billion.
Oddly enough, I believe they polled everyone in Madoff's zipcode -except our conniving little ponzi boy himself, he does his own private polling.
These polls are complete BS. Everyone I speak to wants this guy out of office as soon as possible The taxes alone are killing normal people.
