Knicks center Eddy Curry's life continues to take a deeply tragic turn as yesterday his 3-year-old son witnessed the murder of the boy's mother and his baby sister in a Chicago apartment. Curry's former girlfriend, 24-year-old Nova Henry, and her 9-month-old infant daughter Ava were found shot dead at 6 p.m. yesterday. Police say that they are looking for a "known acquaintance" of Henry, who had a restraining order against another former boyfriend. Her uncle described that man as "a stalker boyfriend."

Curry is married and his four children with his wife, Patrice. Despite claims by Nova Henry that the now deceased infant was his, Curry has continually denied paternity.
However, a close source to Henry told the Chicago Tribune that he is an active part of 3-year-old boy's life.

Curry learned of the murders following the Knicks' loss last night in Philadelphia. Following a bizarre sexual harassment suit two weeks ago, the media had already been drawing attention to what a string of bad luck Curry has had recently. Health problems and weight issues have kept him out of all but one game with the Knicks this year. And in 2007, Curry and his wife were tied up with duct tape in their home during an armed robbery.
