Coked Up Trader Ignites Financial Burnout at WTC

2009_01_7wtcB.jpg A trader for DRW Commodities on the 34th floor of 7 World Trade Center was having a late night partying at the company's offices when he was struck with a pyromaniac urge today. 24-year-old Ryan Brinkerhoff was arrested and charged with six misdemeanor counts and 12 felony counts, including arson, reckless endangerment and burglary after spraying flammable liquid on a door and some phones around the office around 3 a.m. When security cameras led Port Authority police to him, they found him inebriated and on cocaine and stopped him before he set the fluids off. A source told the Post, "He was having a party up there. He's going to wake up and be in deep shit." After being booked at the First Precinct, he laughed at photographers and asked, "Why are you guys taking my picture?"

Well job seekers, here is one job open for rehire. send in your resume and under personal comments section you should state "won't burn the place down"

Douchebaggery perpetuated by yet another douchebag.

Too bad he didn't die.

Self immolation, while normally awful, would be just fine for a person like this.

that's one hell of a party lol

I bet the gothamist offices totally have some stories that beat this.

Give that man a huge bonus from the bail-out fund!

Probably a typical deranged 9/11-truther attempting to re-enact "what really happened" to the original WTC7.

I guess companies aren't doing drug testing any more.

Looks like the cops took this guy out of the options market.

And here he is breathing fire on his my space account. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=206292

I guess that in the current recession companies are no longer checking the my space accounts of potential employees.

Never party at your company's office.

I don't see what he did wrong, I mean come on most of those companies in that building contributed to the economic meltdown. You could say he did something good?
