Matt Ferrisi and Chris Solarz have apparently succeeded in their quest to break the record for riding the subway through each of the 468 stations in the subway system. Solarz just emailed us to let us know they finished their journey in a blazing 22 hours and 52 minutes—blazing past the previous record of 24 hours, 54 minutes and 3 seconds. Before that, the record by held by Kevin "Captain America" Foster who clocked in at 26 hours and 21 minutes in 1989.
We're checking in with Ferrisi and Solarz tomorrow—they are hitting the hay after their feat! But for fun: The SubChat folks are debating it.

These two candy-azzed, pink-skinned, nerdy-looking dickwipes spent 22 hours riding the subways without getting mugged, raped or otherwise harmed?
That must be another record.
Just incredible. Mind boggling. Something to tell their grandchildren. How will they be able to top this in their life time.
I wish I was there at their moment of triumph, playfully shoving those two knuckleheads off the platform.
How did they go to the bathroom?
In the bathrooms at subway stations.
I've only come across 1 subway bathroom and it was the kind of place where women got raped and junkies left dirty needles. Either way, I don't think theres (m)any public bathrooms at subway stations.
i hope they have great gay sex tonight.
wesleyan....classic
LAME
Is this really possible? The MTA actually had all of the subway lines running? That is what is really amazing.
i wonder about the bathroom thing too
Oh come on, I thought this was pretty cool. (1) It isn't straightforward ... it is a gamble when these trains come in; those schedules are just approximations, and (2) two friends did this together.
