  • Knicks 102 Bulls 98: The situation was familiar: the Knicks were tied at 97 with a few minutes left in the game. New York has lost plenty of these types of games so far this season, but Monday was different. Chris Duhon led the way with a key layup, part of his 10-point fourth quarter. Duhon finished the game with 19 points while Quentin Richardson led all scorers with 24.
  • Washington 2 Islanders 1 (OT): New York got its first point of 2009 by forcing overtime Monday afternoon. Kyle Okposo scored his 6th goal of the season in the third period to force the extra period, but a Islanders’ penalty allowed Washington to get the win in OT.
  • Devils 3 Nashville 1: Brendan Shanahan got off to a quick start for his “new” team, scoring a goal to lead New Jersey to the win.
