Paterson Feels Faint, Cancels Interview

2009_01_patermi.jpg NY1 reports, "While waiting to be interviewed in Washington D.C. by NY1's sister station, Capital News 9, Governor David Paterson was rushed away after aides say he was feeling faint. A spokesman said he was suffering from a bad headache and is now resting at his Washington D.C. hotel." Last May, Paterson was hospitalized after migraines caused by a glaucoma and, last June, he had cataract surgery on his left eye (pictured). Still, it's unclear whether his "bad headache" was prompted by increasing media speculation that he's totally appointing Caroline Kennedy to Hillary Clinton's Senate seat.

Veruca Salt? That's an idea -- nominate a rock band.

Long before that it was the name of the spoiled little rich girl - " I want it NOWWWWWW!" - from the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory movie and book by Roald Dahl. Somebody obviously borrowed the name for their rock group.

Who wouldn't have a migraine after being hounded day and night by the Kennedys and Obama people into giving little Miss Veruca Salt a plum political appointment?

I hope the guy is ok.
