I'm all for the "fat tax"! I've had it with the "skinny tax"! Meaning, anything that's healthy costs twice as freakin' much! Try buying carrot juice or beet juice -- it's crazy expensive! Reduce the cost of healthy foods, and make people pay if they want to load up on sugar. It makes sense. We're already paying extra in health insurance to take care of all the unhealthy people out there.


A poll shows that almost two-thirds of New Yorkers are against Governor Paterson's proposed "fat tax" on diet soda among other items.

Actually, the fat tax will not tax diet sodas but only regular sodas.

I think the MTA should institute a fat tax too, I mean if they're taking up 2-3seats worth of space, why shouldn't they pat more??

Am I the only one who wants to try that Batman video game?
