Baby Hitler Taken From Parents

2008_12_bhcake2.jpg Three-year-old Adolf Hitler Campbell, whose family's attempt to get him a birthday cake made him an instant object of sympathy (his parents, not so much), was taken from his parents by NJ authorities. According to Lehigh Valley Live, "New Jersey's Division of Youth and Family Services took the 3-year-old, as well as JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell, 1, and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell, who turns 1 in April" from their home. It's unclear why the children were taken, but Holland Township police Chief David Van Gilson "said his department received no reports of abuse or negligence." Parents Heath and Deborah Campbell are expected to attend a hearing today.

  • in australia ..if you don't like your name you can change it ..by deep pole.. then all you papers are changed and that is it..you are now what ever you want...now that is the land of the free...

  • zack

I think the only reason the parents named the child adolf hitler is because hitler inspired millions of people, just because he killed jews doesn't mean hitler didn't do anything good. The police arn't allowed to take a child just because of the name. It's un-constitutional. good luck baby hitler

  • glennQNYC

So the govenment can now take away your children if they don't like the name you gave them? Scary.

  • totally agree..why don't they take the children of bible bashers to me it is just as bad

  • robingee

What if you name your kid Shithead Jones? Freedom of speech sure, but damn.

  • Barbj8

The parents are very scary in a brain damaged, incestuous sort of way. "Hey Hon, howz 'bout we name the boy Adolf Hitler", "Sure Babe, Ain't he the guy who lives two trailers over?"

  • Barbj8

This father would probably be the type to home school his kids so that they are not subjected the philosophy of sane people.

  • Nyctini11

MSN is running the story and an interview with the parents, i love how the father said "it's just a name" and has no meaning behind it.

  • Nyctini11

Sorry i meant to put the link to it for all of you. It's a shame, he's kind of cute, if you can get past the whole genocide thing ;-)

    @snoopydog, LOL!

  • runs with scissors

about time the state asserted its authority and save this child's life which would otherwise been filled with after school beatings from his peers, mistreatment from teachers and unemployment as an adult.

hope his sister is rescued too.

Hahhah, this dumb idiots are even funny.

  • whitecastlerock

More Yellow Journalism-attention grabbing headline, zero story.

  • Nyctini11

May not be physical abuse by the parents, but when those kids grow up their sure as hell gonna get their asses kicked on more than 1 occasion. hey should force the parents to legally change all their names.

  • babyhitler

hey at least it's better than Bronx Mowgli Wentz.

  • NannyState

    Ha!

  • TKaisen

but when those kids grow up their sure as hell gonna get their asses kicked on more than 1 occasion.

By whom, exactly? The stunningly huge population of tough-guy Jews?

  • Spirit of 76

Unless the kid is going to stay at home for the rest of his life or hang out strictly at KKK events (not improbably since his father is already indoctrinating him), he's bound to run into some minorities sometime. I can't think of a member of any minority group that wouldn't take offense at his name or his father's attitudes.

  • snoopydog

TKaisen. Would you like to make that same statement to a member of Mossad?

  • It might not be an ass-kicking, but kids are merciless and even "regular" names are fodder for teasing. And having a name like "Adolf Hitler" (or "Aryan Nation") makes them even more of a target.

  • freddynyc

It all has to do with the context of your upbringing. I would think that a child named Moshe Rabinowitz would not fare any better in inner-city environs...
