Obama Looks to Avoid Noogies at Presidents' Lunch

No, it wasn't a gathering to mourn the recent death of the First Cat, but rather just a meeting of the minds when the four living presidents were invited to lunch by the president to be. President Bush said he was happy to give a holler to former Presidents Clinton, Carter and Bush 41 (his father). It was the first time all of the living presidents had gathered at the White House since the funeral of assassinated Egyptian leader Anwar Sadat in 1981.

As always when the former presidents get together, there was some serious bromance in the air. President Bush welcomed in President-elect Obama by saying, "We want you to succeed. Whether we're a Democrat or a Republican, we care deeply about this country. To the extent we can, we look forward to sharing our experiences with you. All of us who have served in this office understand the office itself transcends the individual. We wish you all the very best and so does the country."

Media on hand naturally compared the group to the most elite of fraternities. One of the few interactions overheard between the presidents was President Clinton getting reacquainted with his old digs and telling Bush 43, "I love this rug."

As the current President Bush prepares to march into the sunset, he can now only hope that he will rejoin the other former commander-in-chiefs if he's lucky enough to be struck by lightning at a celebrity golf tournament.

haha "i love this rug." coincidentally that's what he told monica lewinsky when she was in the white house!

One of these things is not like the others....

Funny how Poppy is avoiding Dubya.

Obama's wearing the same suit as Dubya.
Change? I think not.

Finnnnnallly, forever good riddance to the idiot douchebag
in the middle

Future historians, please don't be kind, forever give a
thumbs down to this president's "legacy"

could Clinton inch himself further away from Carter?

actually that might be Carter inching himself further from Clinton lest some of bubba's mojo stank gets on him

Just a bunch of stuffed suits.

What a dismal, borng and bland era it's been for mens' clothing the last hundred years or so. Might as well be wearing be wearing matching gray overalls.

Bilderberg sock puppets, all of them.

yeah, Obama get on the new retro fashion train

THAT would be bewildering

I bet Obama is whispering to Bush Sr. " I know your son didn't write that little welcome speech AND more importantly it sounds like he got it right, DID YOU FINALLY get him an ear piece so they could feed him the lines??" ha ha ha

There's something odd about this ... the room looks like a painted backdrop. And it appears that their head's are photo-shopped on some Men's Wearhouse models.

Surprised Carter could make it given the trouble his friends in Gaza are dealing with.

Is W superimposed? There is no way he is almost as tall as Obama and Clinton.

During the Reagan presidency, one of George Sr's sons (not sure which one of his 4 sons) use to win bar bets his father was taller than Reagan. It's just a matter of perception.

It's like the meeting of the 5 Doctors

Obama to Bush Sr.: "You can tell me. You think your son is a total cock too, right?"

A photo of five people who probably should have never been elected in the first place.

Peanut-boy on the right looks SO odd. Are his arms two drastically different lengths?

then his left arm must have been his peanut' pickin one

Name the black sheep, George, Sr.?

I'll give you a clue: It isn't me!

Very few people care for Jimmy Carter. Even the photographer, who didn't tell him to take the flap out the pocket in his jacket.

Jimmy was certainly the least slimy of the group.

Poster boys for Boring Brooks Brothers.

So where is the Lemonparty?

Lets hope that Obama does have something to do with NYC and we hope it is good.

And for GW he should be arrested.

It's as bad and tendential as any old photo of the Kremlin Nomenclatura on the Red Square reviewing stand. Who cares what they are thinking or what they really feel about each other? Only one of them really matters and he's the one that isn't a doddering old stuffy white guy.
