We all know by now that Wall Street turns to Congress when it needs a bailout. But where in turn do the House and Senate turn when their failed presidential bids are still mired in debt for their bailout ? Why, Bon Jovi, of course. Fresh off the Lost Highway Tour, Bon Jovi will play at Town Hall on the 15th on behalf of another lost highway of sorts: Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. Hillary and Bill will be in attendance for photo ops for $1000 ticket holders who they hope will help eradicate the $6 million plus the campaign was still in debt as of last month. The invitation to the concert told donors who had already hit the limit in donating to Clinton that they can attend the event if they recruit two or more people at a certain seating level. Before the concert, VP-elect Joe Biden will help out the cause with a fundraiser in Philadelphia. With all of the love JBJ has shown the Democrats in hosting fundraisers previously for President-elect Obama and the losing Kerry and Gore bids that preceded him, we're surprised that he won't get to burn a "Blaze of Glory" through the inaugural ball.

Bill Clinton makes way more than 6 million from paid speaking engagements and book deals so why doesn't he pay off his wife's debt? I guess if Bon Jovi and his dopey fans are dumb enough to cough up the cash, I can't blame the Clintons for taking it.
P.S. Hey Jon, can also you send a nice tip to the waitress at the diner in Iowa that Hillary stiffed last year during the primary?
Pretty soon Bon Jovi will be one of the only people left in NJ who can afford the taxes there thanks to his Dem buddies....
Bill whines about how undeserving people like him are of the Bush tax cuts yet he's unwilling to part with some of his $100 million in earnings? Where's the money? Tied up in Al Gore's eco-private equity fund? Did he invest with Madoff?
Agree with previous commenters. It was HER CHOICE to continue campaigning when the writing was on the wall, now she's looking for charity benefits to clear her debt? I hope noone shows up.
A lot of Hillary's debt is to small businesses such as caterers who employ a lot of people living paycheck to paycheck. I'm sure a lot of them really couldn't afford to wait this long to be paid and have suffered a lot for Hillary's selfishness and lack of fiscal responsibility.
Remember that next time Hillary or her fellow democrats brag about their superior compassion for the average and low-income worker.
There are more worthy places to donate money.
This is how you show the world how a woman is ready to be president: run up a huge debt while continuing to run against the better advice of everyone, then ask to be bailed out.
At first I was proud of her for running, but she turned me off later with her campaign style, and now, frankly, I'm really ashamed of her.
(I mean, wow. Getting a man to bail you out. Way to be a feminist.)
