- Knicks 93, Bobcats 89: Mike D'Antoni's teams don't play defense -- everyone knows that. But blowing a 17-point lead against the Bobcats comes in a few notches below "not playing defense." Luckily for the Knicks, they recovered. Wilson Chandler had 19 points -- including seven in the final four minutes -- to stave off disaster.
Charlotte, coached by Larry Brown, is now 0-2 against New York this season. The Knicks may be six games under .500, but at least they're perfect against their nemesis who brought such shame to the organization. What's that? It was more Isiah Thomas' fault? Chris Duhon had 15 points and eight assists; the rest of the team only had nine dishes.
- Devils 4, Blues 3: By the time 62 seconds had elapsed, the Devils held a 1-0 lead. Of course, they still went on to trail after Zach Parise's early strike. They entered the first intermission trailing, 2-1, but Brian Rolston tied it in the second period. Two more goals in the third put the game out of reach.

I would think that during the holidays MSG would be able to draw a big rock concert.
But they could only put on a basketball game?
How sad, no wonder they say this city is going downhill.
The professional sports team usually "own" the calendar of a venue and everything else is scheduled around it. My Morning Jacket plays tomorrow night.
Those Knicks players need some rest. They're way too tired most of the time. And as for Curry, if he isn't in the gym right now, then i don't want to see him play. But we do need a big man down low, and that's not on the down low.
They're way too tired because of their playing style. Run run run and gun gun gun away.
