  • Rangers 5, Islanders 4: After a tepid first two periods, both teams exploded to play a furious third session, and the Rangers got the better of it. Four goals helped them to this wild game. Petr Prucha, Michal Rozsival, Marcus Naslund and Nigel Dawes all struck. Prucha's goal came directly off the faceoff that followed a scary-looking play involving Trent Hunter and a stretcher. Hunter skated off under his own power following that, but a Rangers burst followed.

  • Bulls 100, Nets 87: What is wrong with the Nets at home? They are now 5-12 at the Meadowlands after this latest pitfall. Mount Vernon's Ben Gordon had 24 points, Derrick Rose had 21 and the Nets shot 3-of-19 from 3-point land. Devin Harris may not have played great defense, but he did score 26 points.
