Terrible: Earlier this month, a 26-year-old NJ woman leaving Upper East Side bar Dorrian's Red Hand had trouble finding a cab, so when a black limousine pulled up and its driver offered her a ride to the Port Authority, she accepted. The East Side News reports she looked in the back of the limo and didn't see anyone, but once she got in, there was a man. The Post says he offered her a cocktail, which she "refused, but accepted a bottle of water, took a swig, and then felt as if she had been drugged." The man tried to kiss her, but she screamed and bit his hand, prompting the man to kick her out at West 18th Street and 10th Avenue. Dorrian's, the bar that Preppy Killer Robert Chambers met his victim Jennifer Levin, before killing her in Central Park, is now, the Post reports, "warning patrons not to get into unmarked cabs, especially with the two thugs at large." Last year, patrons at The Box appeared to be targeted by a rapist.

Any description of the perp?
people should use common sense.
When they find these bastards, I hope they're hung up by their nutsacks.
Stupid move. You never get into cars with strangers and you definitely do not accept food or drink from them... geez.
Jesus Christ. People need to have some common sense. Oh sure, I'm going to get in a random limo. Oh sure, I'll take have some of that water....
If you don't read this article, the headline reads as if Dorrian's is to blame for this assault. The headline is really misleading and unfair--Dorrian's has had enough bad press. In my experience the staff has always been great to my friends and me over the years.... they don't deserve any more of this treatment.
You are right Elisa, it's just a venue. They can't control what goes on after a person leaves their establishment, unless the person is "over served" which doesn't appear to be the case here.
I think it's useful to know that some pervs might be targeting patrons at a certain bar—that's what happened at The Box last year.
