Last Night's Action: Failure to Launch

Rockets 114, Nets 91: Any time Devin Harris is only on the court for 18 minutes, the game probably will not turn out well for the Nets. He had 10 points on 2-of-9 shooting (he was a perfect 6-of-6) from the free-throw line). Keyon Dooling put in 17 while racking up some extra minutes.

The Nets never appeared in this one. They trailed, 29-13, after one quarter and had no answer for Yao Ming. The Chinese superstar outshone Yi Jianlian and had 24 points and 16 rebounds. He also made all eight of his free throws. The Nets travel to Indiana for a game Tuesday.

That nutty David Stern-wants the league to be internationally recognized. Hey Dave, no one cares about 25% of the teams here in the U.S.A. ! This marquee match up probably had more members of the press than actual paying fans.
