- From the Gothamist Newsmap: A suspicious package at E 74th St & 1st Ave in Manhattan, a ballistics search at 243 St in Queens, and a truck in the water at 43 St & 1st Av in Brooklyn.
- The Circuit City clerk who tipped off the police about the Fort Dix terror plotters (one had dropped off a video of them firing rifles and yelling "Allah Akbar!") three years ago now says he wants to pursue a career in law enforcement.
- Aw, special cabbie delivery! A woman gave birth in the back of a cab: "The cabbie flagged down police and emergency medical crews. They helped safely deliver the baby."
- A shelter in North Carolina thought that 22 puppies would be more likely to be adopted up north, so the pups made the trip to the Animal Welfare Association in Voorhees, NJ.
- President Bush pardoned a Brooklyn developer who "pleaded guilty to fraudulently obtaining federally insured mortgages and to defrauding Suffolk County by selling it overpriced land."
- Ladies who love face poison (Botox) are either cutting back on their injections...or not.
- Are treehuggers behind putting sweaters on trees? Or is it the knitters?
- TMI about Bronx Mowgli Wentz's parents: Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz tried Ashlee Simpson's breast milk.
- Someone is very fond of book-by-the-hour Meatpacking hotel The Liberty Inn and suggests the rooms with Jacuzzis, even though they are $85/hour.

That would be "Bronx Mowgli". The only reason I know that is because of gothamist. Seriously.
I don't think the breast milk thing even qualifies as Perez Hilton news. Most people do that if they have kids - it's just milk. At least it didn't come out of cow nipples!
"...or are is..."? Seriously. When is Jen Chung going to learn to spell, or at least use the "check spelling" option before she posts to the world?
historynutter - You may want to rethink your evidence or cause of ire. "...or are is..." is an example of poor grammar, but probably just evidence of lack of proof reading.
Enough of these comments about using spell checkers and grammar correction checkers and all the crap that accopaknees that kind of righting. If the idea gets across and I understand the opinion, that is fine with me. If you want to write a book about grammar, punctuation and spelling go ahead. But do it on your on blog.
jibbly is right—lack of proofreading because I was still at the office at 8pm. Sorry!
