Thought Bubbles Pop Up in Brooklyn

Reading minds just got a little easier with some thought bubbles that Color Me Katie put up around Brooklyn—you know, the kind of bubbles Garfield uses to share his world-weary witticisms. It's nice to imagine a New York City where people run around pondering cupcakes, love and ladies in bikinis—even though you know they were probably obsessing about unpaid bills, the Knicks, and the $3 MetroCard.

    "lame."

"Where the fuck do these people come from?"

    "been done:"

Sometimes I read comments here and think about what it would be like to be certain other people among us... what would a life of such cynicism and bitterness, with nothing ever being allowed to bring a smile, or a lighthearted or even positive thought, be like?

I wonder what image I could put in a thought bubble to express that.

After reading your comment I wish there was a though bubble above your head because your comment doesn't make much sense at all and would have probably just been best as a thought and not something you typed out in the comments section.

Maybe that's why you felt the need to bring up the bubble project. It's cute that you think you found a connection between the bubble project and Colormekatie's pictures. You probably did really good in those compare and contrast assignments in elementary school.

The bubble project focussed on words and this focusses on thoughts.

Do you always say what you are thinking or can you only do that behind a user id in an anonymous fashion?

I think these are whimsical and sweet!

The possibilities are endless. I think I'll post a thought bubble with $$$ in it on Wall St and photograph the greedy thieves in Armani suits walking by.

i love these. lighthearted and humorous. wonder if it's affiliated with the other speech bubble project or just inspired by it (or a coincidence). this made my morning.

Yet Another: These look like they were taped up. Not a lot of time and expense to peel off there, chico.

I'm sure the Warsaw won't mind the time or expense of removing these from their walls on a freezing cold day.

    They're nice like that.

Where the fuck do these people come from?
