For once, Felixthecat, I agree completely. I also would like people to STFU about this. Even Abraham Lincoln, who is credited with freeing the slaves, knew that you can't keep everyone happy all of the time. I'm sure there were a lot of people that did not own slaves or believe slavery was a good thing, who still hated him for his flagrant disregard of states' rights. Not to mention that he seemed to have no problem using the N-word. Yet somehow, he still went down as one of the greatest American presidents ever. So, how about all of the groups that seem to enjoy complaining about any and every thing, just sit back and let President O do what he feels is necessary for the moment and wait until he fucks up something that matters before you voice your objections?

A clue for idiot Senator Diaz: The issue is NOT "homosexual marriage". The issue is Rick Warren equates homosexuals to pedophiles and incest. Fostering such hate against a group of people goes against everything Obama and his "hope" message stood for. Turns out he was a FRAUD after all.

Opposing gay marriage is not really a very controversial, out-of-the-mainstream position. Opposing marriage for all--that's me--is. Mr Warren is not going far enough. Or we can swing it the other way. Polygamy should be allowed. And let people marry pets. Who's to say what 2 consenting animals do. I like pigs best.

What's Rev. Wright's position on gay marriage? Probably not much different than Warren's. Anyway, gay people have not been denied any rights - that's a flat out lie. They have the right to marry a person of the opposite sex, which is exactly the same right as anyone else. It doesn't suit their particular lifestyle but that's an inconvenience not a denial of rights. Enough with the drama queen hysterics.
