Last night, on Countdown with Keith Olbermann, the number 1 news story was the topic that suddenly gripped a nation: The saga of ShopRite refusing to inscribe a cake for little Adolf Hitler Campbell. Olbermann was charmed by Wal-Mart's statement explaining why they agreed to provide a cake and then brought in fellow MSNBC talk show host Rachel Maddow to riff on the subject.
The Express-Times, which reported on the uniquely named child on Sunday, finds that many people are sympathetic towards the Campbell children, but not the parents. There's also a gallery of photographs showing Adolf Hitler Campbell's birth certificate and the extent of his father's Nazi-admiring ways.

The parents are clearly mentally disturbed. I feel very bad for the kid.
They reeaaally should have reported these parents to ACS as soon as they decided to name this poor kid Adolf Hitler.
I just looked at the photo gallery, real bummer that the side of the family car has an image very similar to the Powell Peralta Ripper Skull logo.
Even if the father was asshole enough to want to name his kids after Nazis, wouldn't Mommy have had a say? I imagine he controls everything in his little dysfunctional family.

That's the understatement of the month. I'd have gone with "bizarrely named."
He's like a skinhead but with hair. No the kids HOPEFULLY won't grow up and be like their namesakes, but they will be ridiculed to the point of no return their whole school-lives which in turn will make them very antisocial or even sociopathic. With the long hair I actually thought the child was a little girl. I'm guessing this is the part of NJ that has trailer parks, right?

To think someone would name their child after some guy that blogs on gothamist. What is this world coming to?
The guy has a lot of nerve considering he calls himself Heath but in reality his first name is Isidore, a nice Jewish name, as shown on the kid's birth certificate.
Our babyhitler is more cakeable than that Baby Hitler.

Is it me or does Baby Adolf Hitler looks like a llittle girl? I can't be the only one who see it. I thought that picture was of Jocelyne Himmler or whatever the daughter's name is.
