I was kidding. I'm definitely not begrudging the child, her father, or the lottery process. It's a nice NY story. I'll enjoy watching the historic event in the confort of my own home with friends.

oh but jack, would be so bitter if the father had won the tickets and said he was going to take his daughter? I would've been absolutely thrilled if I had won, and I'm sad I didn't, but I certainly don't begrudge this little girl a lifetime of getting to say that she was there for history.

That is adorable! And I am sure there are adults all over the world who would "appreciate" winning this more. But there is somethig refreshing about seeing a child win it. Obama used the word and idea of "hope" a lot. What better way to signify that then this 4 year old child. http://www.justinpopovic.com

That's adorable but somebody else (ME!) would greatly appreciate the ticket more.
