If you believe Page Six, then you might believe that Rudy Giuliani may be headed to the radio. Bill O'Reilly is going to be ending his radio show to focus on Fox News, so... "Now, Page Six has learned the leading candidate to succeed him is Rudy Giuliani (above). Westwood One, which syndicates the O'Reilly show, is negotiating with the former mayor."
And no mention of Rudy and radio can go without referring to his unforgettable rant against a caller to his weekly mayoral radio show. The caller, David from Oceanside, was an advocate for ferrets, unhappy that ferrets were deemed illegal by the Department of Health. Giuliani said to him:
"There is something deranged about you.… The excessive concern you have for ferrets is something you should examine with a therapist.… There is something really, really very sad about you.… This excessive concern with little weasels is a sickness.… You should go consult a psychologist.… Your compulsion about—your excessive concern with it is a sign that there is something wrong in your personality.… You have a sickness, and I know it's hard for you to accept that.… You need help."Here's the full transcript and there's audio after the jump. Ferrets rule! Giuliani Doesn't!
Rudy has a real face for radio.
Ferrets are awesome, I've always wanted one.
I just listened to the rant and Rudy comes off as a huge prick.
I'd say a small prick.
I'd say the top weasel was ferreted out early in the Republican primaries. He just can't stand his own kind.
