It's so bizarre to me that Michel Gondry bought a house over there. I used to live like 4 blocks away and it was sketchy as hell. There was literally a crackhouse on my block. Guess the hipsters have been a good influence on the hood.

Not really sure this is a real time-lapse as it seems just to be a couple days of interlaced night and day shots. The girls in the diner behind him are just a couple of different ones, as are the clothes, pumpkins on the sidewalk, and such. I think it's meant to look like a time lapse, but really just a funky interlaced series of a day or two.
