First, everyone is entitled to a lawyer. Goring had a lawyer. I'm glad he's indicted, but I'm sorry to see no disciplinary action was taken against his partner - who presumably backed up his partner's complaint. Until the NYPD takes actaion against that kind of stuff, I'm not optimistic that things will much change.

It would be nice if cops withheld their goddamn trigger fingers before shooting/tasering people. Absolutely no need for all of it.
