- Rangers 3 Carolina 2 (Shootout): The Rangers rebounded nicely from Friday’s debacle, but the biggest events of the night occurred off the ice. Matt Sundin spent the night in a luxury box watching the game as part of a promotional event, but he has a meeting with Glen Sather at some point in the near future. Will the Rangers add Sundin to the mix? It remains to be seen, but they did just fine Saturday with Chris Drury winning the shootout with a nice backhand.
- Knicks 114 Sacramento 90: New York scored 43 points in the first quarter as they jumped out to a big lead and never looked back. Al Harrington had 33 points while David Lee added 19 rebounds.<.li>
- Chicago 113 Nets 104: New Jersey fell apart in the fourth quarter as the Bulls scored 38 points and overcame a ten-point halftime deficit. Vince Carter had 39 points in the loss.
- Buffalo 4 New Jersey 2: Patrik Elias took a tripping penalty midway through the third that led to a Buffalo power play and Derek Roy converted it. Kevin Weekes faced 34 shots in the loss.

The shootout.... the most exciting way to win a game... zzzzzzzzzzzz
