Last Night's Action: Coming From Ahead

  • Bulls 105, Knicks 100: A five-point lead in the fourth quarter didn't do much good for the Knicks, who fell at the United Center in Chicago. Mike D'Antoni, who passed on the chance to coach the Bulls this past offseason, couldn't lead the troops to a win.

The Knicks lost this one when Larry Hughes hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 55 seconds to go. Al Harrington had 28 points and Chris Duhon (pictured right, defending against Derrick Rose) had 14 assists in the losing effort.

  • Flyers 4, Islanders 3: With nine minutes to go, this game was tied. But Simon Gagne broke that tie and the Islanders couldn't recover.

The Isles also had a 2-0 lead at one point in this game, thanks to goals by Andy Hilbert and Doug Weight. That went to waste.

You know you don't play defense when Larry Hughes hit a jumper...
