Authorities and activists are offering a $27,000 reward for information leading to the arrests and convictions in the brutal beating of an Ecuadorian immigrant. A waiter turned business owner, Jose Sucuzhanay was walking in Bushwick, arm in arm with his brother because they were drunk. A group of men yelled anti-gay, as well as anti-Hispanic, epithets at them and used an aluminum bat and broken bottle to beat Sucuzhanay, who was declared brain dead but remains on life support (his family is awaiting his parents). WCBS 2 reports, "It's a black-on-Hispanic hate crime that has alarmed leaders from both groups. " The Reverend Herbert Daughtry, who contributed to the reward money, said, "It is profoundly painful. I don't know what the reasons are. People just motivated by hatred, by a sense of despair." The incident, already considered a hate crime, is now being treated as a homicide.

These Brutal Murders are repugnant. The special Cruelty, Sadism and Inhumanity. The victims were all hard working, peaceful, honest and nice people.
I would consider all these attackers as perfect Terrorists and Cowards.
And now latino kids of age 11 are threatened by thugs with guns in Mountain View, California, they are insulted with racial slurs and they have been promised death.

Doesn't everyone use their ethnicity, race and sexual orientation while fighting? I prefer to use my stuff for the good, sometimes evil but not for violence.
I don't know anyone at all who randomly assaults people and screams obscenities about their sexual preferences and skin color while doing so. No, this is not normal. No, everyone does not do it. You might be hanging out with the wrong people. Being an @sshole or being a racist, neither are the norm nor should they be.
It's amazing that it's 2008, and we are still spending energy on hating each other because of our differences. What a waste.
