Suspected Home Invader's Illuminating Leave Behind

2008_12_nhinv.jpgNassau County police arrested a 25-year-old man for allegedly breaking into an Island Park home. Police say Andrew Zellinger fled because a 14-year-old girl started screaming—Zellinger had apparently been standing in her bedroom. But police were able to nab him, since, as Newsday reports, Zellinger "left behind one very important piece of evidence when he ran: His personal identification." He was charged with first-degree burglary. Related: Over the summer, a robber returned to the Brooklyn home where he stole $200 because he...forgot his wallet.

This is frustrating. I need to know what type of identification and why it was out and thusly left behind. From Newsday:

Police have not revealed what type of "personal identification" he left at the scene.

I need details. Was he adminring his license photo and then he came upon the daughter, dropped his license, etc....?

Perhaps he dropped the phone he was taking pictures with.

@Felix--that is really creepy to think about.

Idiot criminal strikes again.

Jared, if you've fallen on tough times, you can live in my basement!
