High Places will be deejaying. Max Silvestri will be hosting. And according to the event's Facebook page, Marnie Stern is totally going to be in attendance. Get informed here, and then buy a ticket before you get shut out.

EVENT: Nick Diamonds (of Islands) presents A Night of Music, Comedy & Weirdness tonight at the Knitting Factory. Hosted by John Roberts, the evening will feature sets by David Cross, Fred Armisen, Marnie Stern, Amazing Baby, Conrad Keely (Trail of Dead), Eugene Mirman, and others. On top of all that, there will be "miracle fruit taste testings, real humans in cages, live art installations, knitting tutorials, other assorted weirdness." Worried about feeling guilty for going out on a Monday night? Well 100% of the proceeds go to New York Cares, and they ask that you bring a winter coat if possible, to donate to the their coat drive.

COMPETITION: Okay kids, big night for some of the city's top spellers: it's the Williamsburg Spelling Bee FINALS! The season started in July, and tonight will come to an end when one word whiz takes home the...whatever they give out as a prize. Practice online, you can sign up to join in tonight if you get there by 7.

BURLESQUE: How much burlesque do you expect to see for ten bucks? One hour? Two hours? Three hours? Keep going—the new Monday Night Burlesque at Public Assembly is offering four hours of non-stop burlesque for the craaazy low price of just $10! Presented by Jonny Porkpie of Pinchbottom Burlesque, the extravaganza boasts new entertainers every week, and each show climaxes with a midnight dance party and drink specials. Tonight's main event is The Legs Malone Show, starring Amber Ray, Clams Casino, Lady Satan, Anita Cookie and Scott Rayow. – John Del Signore

Unless something has changed from past seasons, it is not possible to sign up to participate in the Williamsburg Spelling Bee Finals. The roster for the Finals is made up of the winners and runners-up from all the previous bees of the current season. There will be no new entrants tonight.
