Drug Dealer Arrested on Way to College Campus

2008_12_sunysh.jpgStony Brook students, this is why you may not have been able to buy your pot or Adderall: Newsday reports that police pulled over Jesse Bachrach, 21, for making an "improper lane change" early Saturday morning in Southampton Village. The cop discovered the car smelled strongly of marijuana, which Bachrach turned over, but then "48 amphetamine tablets and six Adderall capsules, 'all packaged for sale'" were also found. According to Southampton Town police, Bachrach was headed to the Southampton campus of SUNY Stony Brook to sell the drugs. He will be arraigned on charges including "criminal possession of a controlled substance" and traffic infractions. Guess those kids studying for finals will have to subsist on caffeine!

Its like he wanted to get caught. Next time use a turn signal and vacuum pack that shit so it won't stink!

Not to worry though. SB students are known to be resourceful potheads. I'm sure they have plenty of other sources to tap.

I keep hearing college students cry poverty and hardship yet they still have money for drugs. Clearly, a government grant to help pay for illicit substances is in order.

"Why is it you don't see physicians writing these prescriptions for black kids?"

- dooWOP, what the hell are you talking about? I can name 12 black kids who are all prescribed Adderall or Ritalin. Did you have some sort of statistics to back this up? Perhaps there are greater numbers of white parents requesting that their students be prescribed this, but I can assure you there are plenty of physicians writing Adderall scripts for African Americans (as well as White, Latino, or Asian).

looks like a slow news day.

Hey dooWop, black people DO pop pills too!

The driver should have followed "Never get high off your own supply"

Whatever, it's the Southampton campus. That's SB's redheaded stepchild.
