#21, what does it matter if zodak has children or whether he's had the sexuality talk with them? Are you too worried your children will become sex maniacs if you teach them that sometimes humans get naked and plug into each other? Are you worried that those same children might get other children pregnant? If so, then have the FUCKING talk with them and make sure they understand how our bodies work and make sure they understand that the fallacies of religion have nothing to do with whether or not they should or shouldn't have sex. Explain to them what could happen if they have sex (pregnancy, STDs, orgasms, feeling connected, etc.) and to protect themselves at all times should they choose to do so. The problems in today's society are not caused by outside factors such as a saucy billboard. The problems are caused by parents who are too busy or too scared to intelligently converse with their children about subjects that matter, instead relying on the television to babysit them and teach them morals. Then they get mad at what's on television because of their own inadequacies at being a parent.

I think a giant billboard with a cute kitten would be as much visual pollution as the stripper. Only the stripper has much more baggage attached. The point is- why do we as citizens have to be constantly bombarded with ads. Why shouldn't citizens have the right to complain as a group and say "Damnit, I want to see the sky and the sun and the clouds" All these ads, no matter the content are depriving us of nature- light and scenery and peace. Zodak- if some guys was standing outside your window flashing his junk would you complain or just close the drapes?

you could close the drapes & teach your children about human sexuality but that would be too difficult. i can't wait for you guys to complain about all the soft-core porn that you are subjected to at the beach & sheep's meadow. please enact a law to spare the precious children from such horrors. (btw, billboards are temporary)

I think it's very reasonable to not have soft-core porn right outside your window. In fact, I think it's quite reasonable to not have a gigantic video screen installed outside your window, period. Just because this is an ad for a strip club, don't tar everyone who doesn't like it as "morality police".

Oh please, these strippers gotta make a living too, advertising works, fact of life, granted if i was the person in charge of buying ad space for the club, i'd be pissed they put it in a place unlikely to generate a great deal of revenue.

zodak - every single law we have and have ever had is an imposition of someone's version of morality. And it's one of the great things about this country that we're allowed to complain about and try to change the things we don't like. I myself am a naked woman at times, and I wouldn't want to see this billboard outside my window, especially if I had kids. Not because naked women are bad, but because impressionable minds don't need to be imprinted with the idea of women as a consumable commodity.

you do not have a right to a nice view outside your window. if you want a nice view you have to pay for it & that's no guarantee because a new building might go up & block it. if you don't like what's on tv, change the channel. if you don't like what's on the radio, change the station. if you don't like what's outside your windows, close the drapes. but don't try to impose your own version of morality on the rest of us.

I do think that there should be a limit on what amount of sexuality is on billboards that children (under 10 years old) can see. I do agree that people shouldn't HAVE to close their blinds or drapes....that is optional. I do think it is a joke that the mom, thinks 'now' her teenage son knows about half-naked ladies....right, like he didn't know before...keep dreaming mom..... I think it would be a hoot to see what kind of people frequent this strip club....maybe a mayor or councilman....ha ha post the pics and watch the divorce rate soar!!!
