This would only be good if they were actually adding capacity by running these buses in addition to regular service. That way you could at least justify the cost by having an increase in service.

I like these vintage trains and buses and all, but when I see all this stuff, I want some MTA person to be standing next to it and telling me IT IS COSTING THEM NOTHING EXTRA TO DO. If they are wasting even one cent on sentimental garbage, and then talking about eliminating subway lines out the other side of their mouth, then ... well then I hate them. And I don't want a one-dollar fare at Christmastime either. That week or whatever when they do that, it just makes me think they are wasting money and need new leadership. Don't cut service and then give me a dollar off. It makes no sense.
