How about a show about a non-pretentious struggling artist who has to share a railroad apartment with pain in the ass roommates in a building with a slumlord owner who won't fix the heat in the winter. I still probably wouldn't watch, but at least that would be a lot more interesting than another show about a bunch of rich brats that have no concept of reality.

How about a gossip girl show about hookers in new york? Like the girl comes to the big city with jonas brothers playing in the background but quickly is hardened to the realities of the world when she has to turn tricks to keep her cocaine habit in the capacity to which she becomes accustomed.
