An African American Psychiatrist wrote a book several years ago explaining a theory that men like Plaxio have a lot in common with trying to be successful, yet hoping to fail. A UNIQUE kind of self sabotage sort of like hearing when a black is doing well he" sold out to the man" that kind of thing, so the only escape from that unique pressure is to keep being a tuff teenager. If true, I hope things change in that direction.

If this self inflicted injury doesn't fully heal and will effect his play from here on in, he should be cut. If the Giants decide to keep the loser, the NFL AND the Giants WILL fine & suspend his ass. The NFL doesn't take shit like this lightly. They are probably more strict than any other league in the country when it comes to the conduct of their players.

Tony Siragusa actually said it best during the game yesterday -- if you're putting yourself in a position where you feel like you need a gun to defend yourself then just don't put yourself in that position. Stay home. Wear less jewelry. And seriously, considering that the moron shot himself, what are the chances that if someone tried to rob him that he actually would have been able to defend himself properly using the gun?

If you are going to own a firearm, don't be a moron at least wear a holster and understand how the weapon functions. I imagine when this happened it was like that scene in 'I'm Gonns Git You Sucka' where the guy drops his weapon and it just start shooting.

How do you call around to hospitals to see if they won't report a gun injury though? I can't think of a good question you could ask them to inquire about it without sounding like you just shot yourself in the leg!
