As I said a few days back when folks were getting all "Jets in the Super Bowl-y"... The New York Jets: The New York Mets of Football. I hope they pull this off. I really do. It would make me plenty happy to see Favre have that one last success (he's got to retire after this, right?) And my buddy Daniel T would be thrilled to see them do it. But I am a firm believer in the reasonable expectations hypothesis, an embracer of the prudent man rule. If you get too optimistic, the disappointment stings even worse.
