• Rangers 4 Florida 3 (shootout) Another game in Florida, another shootout in Florida. And, just like Wednesday, the Rangers gave up the tying goal late in the third period and then pulled the game out in the shootout. Lundqvist wasn’t as sharp, but his offense bailed him out and New York took home two more points. The two teams will meet again Sunday afternoon at MSG.
• Boston 7 Islanders 2; New York scored less than two minutes into the game, but it was all downhill from there. Boston scored five times in the third period and blew the game open.
