Marbury Drama Continiues With Suspension

Stephon Marbury is not going to leave town quietly. With Nate Robinson hurt, Mike D’Antoni talked to Marbury about playing on Wednesday, supposedly even guaranteeing the disgruntled guard a starting spot for the rest of the season. Marbury refused and now, the Knicks have suspended Marbury for Saturday’s game and fined him 1/110th of his salary, or $189,460. Marbury is pleading for his release from the Knicks, but he also wants all of his $21 million. The Knicks don’t want to pay that and the only thing that seems certain at this point is that this will end badly.

Baby, baby,
stick your head in gravy,
wrap it up in bubblegum
and send it to the Navy.

If he actually refused to play he voided his contract. I hope the suspension is just a delay tactic as they talk to their lawyers and the league about dumping him for $0.

That's what happens when you hire overgrown, pampered babies. Maybe sports teams will finally get wise and include some kind of public behavior clause in their contracts.

stephon marbury gets paid more than kobe bryant or Lebron james. Can you believe this shit?

Just get rid of him already. David Stern should force the Dolans to sell the team now. Why not make that fat pile of shit Jerome James earn a fucking salary? Put that slob in the game for 7 minutes so he can foul out and give other players a rest. This team is a joke
