Having grown up in Suffolk, I know that cars are everything, and that as a teenager I was required to drive to see anyone or anything. I know the day will come when my kids are older and want to hang out with friends and there may be drinking involved. But as a NYer, I know they can get in a cab or take the subway. </p>
