And who's going to forgive the church? Last I checked, Lennon didn't kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people through the centuries to further their agenda.

Actually it wasn't bragging. It was the truth. But no religion can handle the truth. Just look at Bombay today. There's no such thing as Hell. But if there were, Mohamed, Buddha, Jesus, Moses, Abraham and all other prophets and priests would be burning in it.

Lennon's lucky. It took Galileo over 400 years to be forgiven for telling scientific truth. 42 years is a lot quicker. I guess forgiveness is too divine for the church.

Somehow, the image of John Lennon, Elvis, George Harrison, and Pope John Paul II sitting around one of heaven's many nightclubs listening to James Brown when they get the news that John is back in God's good graces, seems about right.
