Forget about that tired, old, tourist coveted F Train t-shirt, AnimalNY reports that the MTA has some brand spankin' new tees that are much more aesthetically pleasing; an "edgy line of t-shirts featuring the photography of Travis Ruse, a well known, photo documenting commuter," (will more local photobloggers be getting some MTA love in the future?). There are three styles, titled: lamplight, platform and skyline (pictured). Pay 24 bucks now so you won't have to pay 3 later.

I never liked those subway sign t-shirts (which I rarely see). Maybe it's because I'm a native New Yorker and feel that anyone wearing them is trying to be a poser or a "Fake Yorker".
I wonder how many times he's gotten manhandled by someone who didn't like their picture getting taken.
Getting a halfway decent shot isn't worth getting your gear busted up.
They look nice enough...I like the pure graphicness. But I wonder if these will be as common as the aforementioned "F" (or other lines) shirts, and thus become as inauthentic. and "touristy".
