No, his ratings aren't lower due to the economy. Patterson's been doing alright. His ratings are lower because he's been acting like an arrogant out of touch asshole lately.

It's time to put him out to pasture. He's had his glory days and they are over. Billion dollar stadiums and sweet deals to his developer buddies is not proper fiscal management. He hasn't shown one good idea or substantial cutbacks on capital projects that shows he knows anything about managing money. Being rich doesn't make you smart or have good taste. I hope the state squashes his bid for a third term. Rest in peace mayor Bloomberg.
